Our goal is to provide equine enthusiasts a wide range of quality resources in one place and have it be the connection point between individuals and equestrian businesses/organizations.
.Tim Williams-Founder of Equine Academics-entered the equestrian world 20 years ago when he moved to New York. While his background has primarily been in the business areas of marketing, research, management and leadership, his early focus was as an industry leader and change agent in the college enrollment/recruiting process. Along that journey he also served in various capacities including collegiate coaching, teaching and the management of several companies and organizations…a true renaissance set of opportunities.
His equestrian experience included positions with several colleges with large equine student populations and industry work through John Madden Sales, the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament, the World Of Horses Exhibit at the NYS Fair and several equine-related non-profit organizations including the National Association of Equine Affiliated Academics and the Lorenzo Driving Competition. A partnership and collaboration with the EQUUS Foundation has provided the one-of-a-kind Equine Education Network resource of which Tim was developer of the list and now is the program administrator. Free, immediate and on-going access to this network is now available through the Equine Academic Smartphone app.
Tim’s expertise is in research and designing strategies and processes to use that information to solve a problem. The launch of Equine Academics was an outcome of one of the results of a NYS equine survey in 2014 that indicated that there was a need for a comprehensive database of various equine resources. Technological advances now can offer a portal to the information that is already in place, a much more effective and efficient than recreating the info. The Equine Academics platform was developed.
His other business ventures leverage his experience and expertise and he is available for consultation and coaching in several different areas…college enrollment options for families; enrollment management expertise for colleges and universities; strategic planning and marketing for equine-related businesses/organizations; and research, planning and solution implementation for equine-related projects
